Netflix to Virgin Media’s TiVo Platform

Following hot on the heels of Virgin Media announcing that from early next year they will start to roll out a 152Mbps internet package, they have now revealed that their TiVo based set top box will get access to Netflix.

This builds on the platform, being able to deliver content to set top boxes via the internet. The new Netflix app should be rolling out to all boxes over the next few days. Netflix costs £5.99 per month, but users signing up to Premiere or VIP packages will get 6 months free. (This includes existing users who renew their contracts).
