TV Anywhere comes to Android

Virgin Media’s TV Anywhere service is now available on Android mobiles and tablets.

The TV Anywhere app is free to use for all Virgin Media TiVo users, allowing them to watch live programming over WiFi, or schedule recordings on their TiVo set-top boxes.

Nine new UK TV channels are to be made available too: Alibi, Dave, Drama, Good Food, Home, Really, Watch, Yesterday and CBS Reality.  This brings the total to 67 channels available via mobile, and 90 channels available online.

As yet, support for Android devices is patchy with some issues for devices running Android 4.4 KitKat.  Support for more Android devices is being rolled out, however.
