ITV changes its colours

ITV have unveiled their new logo as part of a larger re-branding exercise. A much more colourful, more rounded logo has been created and is part of a multimillion pound exercise. The process has been ongoing for over a year now, and has been revealed recently.As part of the rebranding, ITV1 will become known as just ITV, this will be done soon, no date has yet been set. It will apply to any ITV service, including the main ITV plc, ITV News, ITV Sports, the various channels.

Since its announcement, users of twitter have taken to the platform to criticise the new logo, bringing back feelings that were made during the London 2012 Olympics logo announcement.
