The Freeview service upgrade was completed on schedule yesterday and all systems are working as expected. Most viewers have managed to retune successfully, and Freeview are helping out those who are having problems.
Coverage of Five should have been boosted, and the availablity of this channel should be preserved at the time of the digital switchover, this move has made it available in all areas once analogue is turned off.

Virgin Media have confirmed a deal with Universal Pictures to launch PictureBox, a movies on demand service on its cable network.
From July users will gain access to movies, in standard and high def for a small fee of £5 per month. This subscription will give users a choice of 28 different films every month, 7 new films being added every Friday.
This new deal will be the first time PictureBox will be available in High Def in the UK.
The PictureBox service is also available on Tiscali TV and BT Vision.
