BBC Three is now online only

As of the early hours this morning, BBC Three no longer exists as an over the air channel. In an effort to reduce costs, the BBC has made the channel an online only one.

To go with this move, the BBC have created The Daily Drop, an online portal to access BBC Three content. This can be viewed at http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/daily-drop

Being online only also shows a little that the BBC is changing wiht the times as more people stream and watch catch up content now, rather than watching the live broadcast. Only time will tell how successfull the move is, expect some teething problems while everything gets settled out.
