Big Sky Updates

Sky have been rather busy recently, bringing us a batch of updates in one go. For users of the Sky+ HD box, there is a new version which now supports a 2TB drive, double that of the current allowing for twice as much content to be recorded – very useful for recording hours of HD content. The price of this new box will keep in line with the current price of the 1TB one.

Relating to this, viewers now get a 7 day catch up service, covering shows from Sky, ITV and Channel 5. 4oD and the BBC’s iPlayer will follow later this year.

Finally, the ipad app gets access to Zeebox integration, this gives augmented content relating to your current tv viewing via the companion app.
